2023 has been a year of success and development in IRDG. The R&D Tax Credit is rising from 25% to 30% with the Cash Credit rising from €25,000- €50,000. We’ve executed our own Digital Transformation, created Ireland's Innovation Index, added Josh Blake to the team, and pioneered new Innovation Management training as we delivered Year 1 of the IRDG Innovation Skillnet. We’ve a rich and ambitious agenda for 2024. New programmes include AI and Foundations of Strategic Innovation. We’re expanding our Advocacy work including the creation of the IRDG Policy Working Group, with lots of plans in the pipeline. After the success of our Breakfast Briefings at the start of 2023 we’re coming to a location near(ish) to you in January and February. And we’re delighted that a number of these will be hosted by IRDG Members. Our ongoing priority is delivering value for our members; preparing your business and talent for the future, supporting your key business challenges, and giving you a voice to shape Irish research and innovation policy through 1:1 support, connecting across the network, our training and representation. As we kick off 2024, we will host 9 Regional Roundtables nationwide. We would love to have you join us. It will be an opportunity to connect, or reconnect, with innovation leaders in your area. It will also be a chance to meet in-person with the team and get to contribute directly to our plans.
