Mobile Operations Unit for Remote Testing

What We Offer

FMCI’s mobile operations unit van is a fully equipped, field-ready office designed to support advanced air mobility and drone testing projects across Ireland. Acting as a mobile command centre, it provides seamless connectivity, real-time coordination, and a comfortable workspace for teams working beyond the lab.

The mobile van seamlessly integrates with our drone port, control room, and real-time monitoring systems to enable scalable, on-location deployment of aerial and mobility technologies. Whether you’re conducting UAS testing, surveying, or managing remote command operations, our mobile office ensures your team stays connected, equipped, and mission-ready, wherever you are.

A ground crew member operates a remote airspace monitoring system from inside FMCI’s drone operations van. Equipped with dual tracking screens and a full communications suite, the vehicle serves as a remote control room for UAV testing and U-space demonstration flights.

Why Choose Us

Support in Remote Environments

Our mobile office allows teams to operate independently in remote or semi-remote locations. Whether testing in rural airspace, near estuarine zones, or at the edge of controlled airspace, the mobile operations unit supports self-sufficient missions with power, safety gear, and connectivity.

Agile Deployment Options

Designed to support R&D in diverse locations, FMCI’s mobile office enables quick deployment to new test sites or project locations, shortening setup times and supporting agile development cycles.

FMCI Facility Integration

The mobile office is fully integrated into FMCI’s operational workflows. Whether deployed to the drone port, proving ground, or in support of remote U-space trials, it acts as a direct link to FMCI’s infrastructure, including the on-site control centre.
